As part of efforts towards ensuring equitable distribution of projects across the State, Ogun State Government said it would welcome feedback from the citizens in areas they considered government can improve upon, as this would make the administration do more in the provision of   necessary infrastructure.

The Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who  made this known while commissioning projects at Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of the State, said  ‘’any government that is interested in the welfare of its citizens should be ready to hear their views and improve on any area they are not comfortable with’’.

“We will appreciate your feedback on whatever we are not doing right or what will make us improve on our service delivery to the good people of Ogun State. We know that this will help us to do more for the benefit of our people”, the Governor said.

Represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. He assured that his administration would continue to support Local Government Areas by augmenting their efforts, as this would aid their performance as the third tier arm of government.

Governor Abiodun lauded the efforts of the Transition Committee Chairman for his ingenuity in purchasing security communication gadgets to boost security of lives and property in the council area, as well as skill acquisition and empowerment training programmes for 2,000 youths.
