The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has disclosed that the State government had in place, a financial plan that would help his government to aggressively tackle the issue of roads in the State.
Prince Abiodun who made this known at the final burial ceremony of late Olori Mojisola Oladuni Ojuri, held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ikoto, Ijebu, said his administration was determined to give attention to all the township roads across the State.
“We have issues with our township roads, it is all over the state, we are determined to give attention to all our township roads. We have plans to ensure we attend to all our township roads, we have a financial plan to tackle it and we will surely tackle it”, he said.
Abiodun at the burial, described the late mother of the member, who represented Odogbolu State Constituency at the 8th assembly, Hon. Adebowale Ojuri, as a good and supportive wife and mother, who ensured that all her children were well educated and trained, adding that she was literate with a privileged background and was an entrepreneur during her life time.
He described burial periods as, ” opportunities that allow us to reflect on our life, for those of us still living, we have an opportunity to ensure that good things are said about us when we are no more, this is a point in time when we need to take stock of our lives and look at what will be said about us when we are no more”.
In his message, Venerable Samson Micheal, Vicar and Archdeacon of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ikoto, Ijebu, said whatever a man sows, he will reap, adding that every act of a man, while on earth is a seed, which would surely be harvested.
He reminded Political office holders not to forget that their emergence was divine and a season of sowing, where if they lead well, they would reap God’s blessings.
