WE ARE COMMITTED TO REPOSITIONING INFORMATION MINISTRY- PS

The newly  appointed Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information andStrategy, Mr. Abiodun Awere has assured of repositioning the Ministry, to further move it to a greater height, while calling for all hands to be on deck in order to ensure an increase in its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

Awere who stated this at a meeting with the management and staff of the Ministry, said his target as the new Permanent Secretary to reposition the Ministry, would be a collective responsibility of everyone, calling on all officers to be more dedicated and punctual at work, as well as show loyalty, so as to achieve set goals for the year.

His words, “as far as the management is concerned, we would provide the necessary materials for you to work with, we would also ensure that we organised trainings to enhance productivity but the only way to pay back as  staff, is for you to give us maximum cooperation.

‘’The management needs your support and cooperation; your loyalty is sine qua non. Your punctuality is also very essential, you must carry out your duties with every sense of responsibility and your attendance at the usual Tuesday meetings, as Press Officers, must not be taken for granted”, he added.

In their separate remarks, the Director of Information, Strategy, his counterpart in Planning, Research and Statistics, Alhaji Tajudeen Sokunbi and Waheed Adesina, respectively, called on officers to put in their best for all round success, enjoining them to portray themselves in good light by adding value in their various beats
