The review Committee on appointment and employment into the Ogun State Civil Service between February 1 and May 29, 2019 have been commended for its commitment and timely completion of the given task and staying off external influence and intimidation.
Governor Dapo Abiodun gave this commendation in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, while receiving the committee’s report, explaining that it was set up to review last appointments and employments into the State Civil Service by immediate past administration.
While appreciating the committee for a job well done, Abiodun noted that necessary verification would be carried out after critical look at the report, saying government would continue to engage the services of retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in ensuring that things are done accordingly in the state’s civil service.
“We will continue to engage you and rely on your various experiences and collective wisdom that you have gathered over the years. You did not only accept this task, you have diligently carried out the assignment with all sense of purpose and seriousness “, he said.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Committee, Chief Dipo Odulate thanked the Governor for the opportunity given them to serve, assuring that they would be available to serve anytime they were called upon.
