Ogun State Government has vowed that perpetrators of the mayhem that led to breakdown of law and order in Ifo, Ifo Local Government Area of the State last Sunday, would be brought to book.
The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Chief Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga, who led other State functionaries, including security chiefs, commiserated with the families of Akeem Akinsanya and Monsuru Alabi, who lost their lives in the incident.
Governor Amosun who also visited the constituency offices of the Law Makers noted that security personnel have started investigations and promised that anyone found guilty will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
The State Commissioner for Police, Bashir Makama, revealed that arrests had been made and investigations are on-going, maintaining that culprits will not go scot free.
In the mayhem, two people were killed and constituency offices and properties of the Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Olakunle Oluomo and member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Ibrahim Isiaka were burnt.
