PARAMOUNT RULERS, HoS, EXTOL OSOTA’S VIRTUES AS HE RETIRES FROM SERVICE

The Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas and Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Adetona and other three Paramount Rulers had extolled the virtues of the retiring Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Kunle Osota, saying he worked tirelessly in harmonising traditional institution in the State.

          The Awujale while receiving Mr. Osota at his Palace in Ijebu-Ode, said he served diligently while at the Ministry, adding that his good records would continue to speak for him.

          At the Palace of Alake of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Gbadebo, the retired Permanent Secretary was advised to continue his good works, as he would reap the enormous benefits attached.

          Also speaking the Olu of Ilaro at his Palace in Ilaro, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Olugbenle said Mr. Osota performed excellently, while he conducted his activities wisely, especially, during the council and committee meetings.

          In his remark, the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, praised the retired Permanent Secretary, saying Osota was committed to any given assignment.

          Meanwhile, the State Head of Service, Alhaja Selmot Ottun charged Civil Servants to emulate the retired Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Kunle Osota, whose integrity had paved way for him while in service.

          The Head of Service gave the charge at the send-off organised in honour of Mr. Osota, describing him as thoroughbred professional, who carried out his duties diligently.

          In his goodwill message, the Commissioner, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Honourable Afolabi Afuape said the retired Permanent Secretary was an administrator, who believed in teamwork in the journey of success, encouraging him not to relent in his efforts, as his wealth of experience would still be needed in the State.

          Responding, Mr. Osota thanked everyone for the cooperation and support given him while serving the State, assuring that he would not hesitate to render necessary assistance whenever he was called upon.
