Mrs. Abiodun noted that the intervention which was part of the State Government’s Public Private Partnership initiatives, would enhance learning among the children with special needs.

The commissioning which coincided with events commemorating the 2019 World Disabilities Day, held at MITROS hall, Ibara, GRA, Abeokuta, was aimed at promoting an understanding of disability issues and mobilizing support for the dignity, rights, and well-being of persons with disabilities.

Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Primary Secondary and Technical Education, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo said the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) observed annually, was to ensure that discrimination against people living with disabilities was completely abolished, while they are fully integrated into the society.
