Ogun State Tech Hub, in collaboration with CISCO network, has organised a special training programme for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) experts, in order to keep them updated with latest development, techniques and innovation in the ICT world.
Declaring open the workshop, tagged, “Tech Hub Academy”, at the Tech Hub center, along Kobape road, Abeokuta, Director of IT, Bureau of Information and Communication Technology, Mrs. Olatundun Adekunte, said the training was part of lineup of trainings, stimulated by the need to get the growing population informed, updated and ICT compliant.
She noted that the training became imperative, especially at this pandemic period, which prompted some people to be working from home on their computer system, saying, if the CISCO networking guidelines of the training were maintained, proficiency and productivity would be enhanced.
The resource person, a CISCO certified expert, Mr. Mufeed Arigbabu, remarked that the training was basically an essential IT training, geared towards making the instructors to be proficient, as they train those under them.
One of the participants, Mr. Francis Banjo, said the training would enrich the skills of technology enthusiasts including Civil Servants, willing to carve a niche for themselves in ICT.
