OGUN ASSEMBLY EXTOLS VIRTUES OF LATE MEMBER

The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi, has described a former member representing Leguru State Constituency, between 1992 and 1993, late Hon. Adegbuyi Bodunrin, as a legislator who showcased high level of commitment for the development of his Constituency, a team player and an elder among his colleague-lawmakers.

Adekunbi, who led other members of the Assembly in paying tribute to the deceased member of the 3rd legislature at a special plenary held in his honour at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, said that, Bodunrin was an active member who was committed to the advancement of the State through constructive contributions during debates and motions.

The Speaker condoled with the family and associates of the former legislator, saying, he would be missed greatly and particularly by people of his constituents, whose lives he had impacted and influenced positively. He extolled him as an embodiment of wisdom, whose love for his generation and younger ones in his constituency and the State at large could not be overemphasized.

Earlier in their remarks, the colleagues of the deceased , Honourables Muyiwa Okenla and Otunba Agboola Bakare, extolled the virtues of late Bodunrin, explaining that he was a disciplined and dedicated team player, who exhibited high level of commitment to the development of the State.

They added that his death was a huge loss to the Legislature and the State at large, praying to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
