OGUN ASSEMBLY CONFIRMS ADEYEMO AS ACTING CLERK

Ogun State House of Assembly today reconvened, after the election break and passed a motion, confirming the Deputy Clerk of the House of Assembly, Mr. Adedeji Adeyemo, as the Acting Clerk.

The confirmation, which was for a period of six months in the first instance, took place at the plenary, presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi, through a motion moved by his Deputy, Olakunle Oluomo, seconded by Hon. Jemili Akingbade and supported by the Whole House.

Adeyemo’s appointment was as a result of the recent appointment of the immediate former Clerk, Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu, as the new Head of Service of the State by the Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

The confirmation according to the Assembly, took effect from January, 2019.
