Stakeholders in the technical and vocational education sector have been enjoined to partner with Ogun State Government in order to enjoy benefits such as grants and contracts, as well as get exposed to artisanship opportunities across the world.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical Education, Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa, disclosed this in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, while receiving members of National Association of Technical and Vocational Schools Proprietors of Nigeria (NATVSPN), who paid him a courtesy visit.

Odemuyiwa called on the Association to appropriately relate with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, for ease of operation and certification of their schools and workshops, assuring them of the present administration’s support.

Earlier in his remarks, the State Chairman, NATVSPN, Engr. Akin Olutayo, said the Association would identify with government on the promotion and development of technical studies towards developing Technical and Vocational Education in the State.

He appealed to the State Government for easy assessment and registration of the Association, saying they are ready to comply to government’s approval procedures for their schools.
