OGHA HOLDS STAKEHOLDERS’ FORUM TO INSTITUTIONALISE CSR

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been a tool that brings about development to host communities, where various organisations operate, and towards ensuring strict compliance, the Ogun State House of Assembly will tomorrow, Wednesday, October 31, 2018, hold a public hearing on the bill titled: “B. NO. 020/OG/2017- The Corporate Social Responsibility Commission of Ogun State Law, 2017”.

The Stakeholders’ forum, according to a release signed by the Clerk of the House, Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu, would enable the Assembly harness the submissions of relevant stakeholders in the formulation of the all-inclusive bill, aimed at creating guidelines for companies to have budget for the execution of people-oriented projects meant to improve the living condition of their host communities.

The release stated that the Forum would take place at the State House of Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta, at 10:00am prompt, while all stakeholders are enjoined to be seated at 9.30 am.
