OGHA COMMENDS FG ON ESTABLISHMENT OF PASSPORT OFFICE IN SAGAMU

The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi has lauded the President Mohammadu Buhari-led Federal Government, for the recent establishment of the Nigeria Immigration Services Passport Office in the Sagamu area of the State.

Speaker Adekunbi gave the commendation at a plenary while responding to the submission of his colleague-lawmaker from Sagamu II State Constituency, Adeyinka Mafe, who expressed delight over the establishment of the office, through the intervention of the State Government in Sagamu area of the State, saying that the step would help create more job opportunities for the teeming youth in the area.

Adekunbi who equally called for the establishment of the passport issuance office in the Ogun West Senatorial District of the State, explained that the new Sagamu Office would ease the process of obtaining travel documents by residents in the State.

Mafe commended the Federal and State governments for their developmental efforts which he noted would serve as great relief to his constituents.

In a related development, the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led government in the State has been applauded for its giant stride in the provision of infrastructure in the Obafemi-Owode State Constituency and the State at large.

The lawmaker representing Obafemi-Owode Constituency, Hon. Tunde Sanusi gave the commendation while reporting that contractors had been mobilized and that work had commenced on the construction of a pedestrian bridge at Mowe and Ibafo Communities, calling for speedy completion of the bridge to ease human and vehicular movement.

Responding, Speaker Adekunbi reiterated that the present administration was committed to providing more infrastructural projects to the people, in fulfillment of its mission at expanding the road network of the State, for more investment opportunities.
