NEW OGUN HOS CHARGES ASSEMBLY WORKERS ON ETHICS, DILIGENCE

The newly appointed Ogun State Head of Service, Engr. Olanrewaju Bisiriyu, has urged members of staff of the State House of Assembly to remain committed to the ethics of the service through loyalty, dedication and promotion of standard in all their activities for the State to maintain its pride of place in the comity of States in the country.

Bisiriyu, who spoke during the New Year prayer and farewell message as the immediate past Clerk of the Assembly at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, thanked the workers whom he described as instrumental to the implementation of government policies and programmes.

“As Civil Servants, we should remain steadfast by demonstrating a high level of readiness and commitment to work. We should remain supportive to the government in sustaining the massive social and infrastructural developments being put in place by the Senator Ibikunle Amosun-led administration”, he remarked.

According to him, hard work always have reward at the appointed time, hence, workers should be diligent, focused and abide by the public service rules and regulations, charging them to play their part in the rebuilding mission of government.

Commending the present administration for the massive socio-economic development of the State and commitment to workers’ welfare, the new Head of Service prayed for the progress and development of the State and the nation.

Responding on behalf of the workers, Alhaji Nureni Rabiu, lauded the Clerk for his leadership style which he said had impacted greatly on them, wishing him success in his new appointment.
