Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has commiserated with the family of a legal luminary and former Commissioner for Agriculture during Governor Olabisi Onabanjo regime, Late Chief Isiaka Sanni ,who passed on at the age of 87years.
The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Olatokunbo Talabi said the Elder Statesman whose contribution to the political landscape of the State would forever linger on in the hearts of many.
“The Prince Dapo Abiodun led-administration condoles with the family of our father and a great patriot, Late Chief Isiaka Sanni for the beautiful legacies left behind for the children, and particularly the larger community as a whole. You have left indelible marks that would forever resonate in our hearts. We pray God to grant your soul Aljannah firdaus”, he said.
Gov. Abiodun, who noted that death was inevitable, said there was need for all mortals to be reminded that death could come calling anytime, urging all to leave heart-warming legacies for those behind.
He thereafter prayed for the repose of the deceased, and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss at this period.
Speaking during the visit, one of the deceased’s children, Mrs. Abiola Adekunbi, described her late father as a man of high integrity who was passionate about the development of the people and the community at large.
Late Chief Abiodun Sanni, died on Tuesday, October 2 and has been buried on Thursday, October 4, 2019. He was survived by many children and grandchildren.
