The palliative measures on some roads in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government by the Ogun State Public Works Agency (OSPWA) had shown the sensitivity of this Present Administration for being responsible and responsive to the electorates in the State.
A former member of the State’s Transition Committee, Hon. Wasiu Lawal who spoke in an interview with newsmen during the business clinic held at the Local Government Hall in Ota, said the interconnectivity of the rehabilitating roads with that of Lagos axis has began to yield result, with the growing rate of Micro and Medium businesses in the area.
He noted the rehabilitation of the roads leading to Alagbado, Ayoba, Iyanapaja and other places in Lagos had reduced the traffic bottleneck and time wastage, thereby improving socio- economic activities in Ota axis.
“Thank God for the prompt intervention of Governor Abiodun on the rehabilitation of the roads. Ota and it’s environ are industrial hub and requires good infrastructural development to bring about economic prowess, which this present administration will bring into reality”, he said.
A resident in the area, Mrs. Monsurat Ajibose added that, the rehabilitation of roads across the city was a sign that the government remained committed to infrastructural development, noting that the gesture would bring relief to transporters and enhance socio-economic and political activities in the axis and the State in general.
