Transition Chairman, Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Engr. olugbenga Olugbile has Commenced the distribution of OGSG free face mask to people in the area, as part of measures to curtail the spread of covid-19 Pandemic in the State.
Engr. Olugbile in a statement disclosed that, since wearing of face masks became mandatory in the State, his Council would invariably enforce its usage in the area to ensure curbing the spread of the virus.
“Let us make sure we always put on our face mask whenever we are going out. It is for our own benefit, to protect us from the pandemic. Anyone who refused to comply with the Government’s directives would be made to face the wrath of the law”, the LG Boss said.
Olugbile while sensitizing the people during the distribution of the face masks said, regular hand washing, as well as the use of sanitizers and other preventive measures should also not be neglected.
He thanked the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the donation, which he noted was part of Government’s relentless efforts in the fight against the spread of Corona virus in the State.
The distribution of the face masks took place at Olorunsogo Area, Lewu community in Ijebu-Ode.
