The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has sworn in Engr. Olanrewaju Bisiriyu as the 17th Head of Service of the State, charging him to brace up for the task ahead,
Governor Amosun speaking shortly after the oaths of allegiance and secrecy of office was taken by the new HoS at the executive chamber of the Governor’s Office, noted that Civil Service is the engine room of the administration, saying that he should see his appointment as a call to service and to unite the entire State.
While noting that the success of any government depends largely on the quality of its workforce, the Governor enjoined Engr. Bisiriyu to bring the experiences he has garnered to bear, which he said would be of great benefit to the State.
The number one man in the State urged the leadership of the service to embrace the innovations which his administration had introduced from the private sector, assuring that it would be of great benefit to the Civil Service.
Amosun enjoined him to justify the trust and confidence reposed on him for appointing him to the post by bequeathing a lasting legacy to the State.
Speaking with journalists after the swearing in, Bisiriyu affirmed his commitment to the rebuilding mission agenda of the Amosun’s led administration and promised to ensure preservation and promotion of the State Public Service for utmost service delivery.
Also in an interview, two former Heads of Service, Princess Iyabo Odulate and Mr. Abayomi Sobande congratulated the new HoS, imploring him to build synergy between Civil Servants and political appointees, for the development of the State.
