Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has paid a condolence visit to the family of the first Chairman, Ado-Odo/ Ota Local government, late Chief Nasirudeen Deinde, at his family house, in Sango Ota.
Governor Abiodun, represented by his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, who led the State Government delegation to the deceased’s house, described the late politician, who was a pioneer member of Iganmode Club, as an exemplary leader, whose teachings would never be forgotten, urging citizens to emulate his virtues.
“Chief Deinde was an eminent son of great Awori land. He served the State diligently and had left a wonderful legacy which we should all continue with. As political leaders, it is always good to reference individuals like Chief Deinde, who served honorably”, he said.
Welcoming the delegation to the family house, the deceased’s children, Mr. Yinka Deinde and Dr. Wale Deinde, appreciated the State government for identifying with the family, saying their father had bequeathed a very good name to them, with a promise not to drag it in the mud.
