“Chief Deinde was an eminent son of great Awori land. He served the State diligently and had left a wonderful legacy which we should all continue with. As political leaders, it is always good to reference individuals like Chief Deinde, who served honorably”, he said.

Welcoming the delegation to the family house, the deceased’s children, Mr. Yinka Deinde and Dr. Wale Deinde, appreciated the State government for identifying with the family, saying their father had bequeathed a very good name to them, with a promise not to drag it in the mud.
