The Tech Hub promised by the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, will be formally launched, and the program runs from 2nd – 6th of September, 2019. The launching will take place at the Ogun Tech Hub, beside President Muhammadu Buhari Estate, along Kobape Road, Abeokuta at 10am daily.
Ogun Tech Hub is an open living lab and pre-incubation space designed to be a multi-functional, multi-purpose space where work to catalyze creative social tech ventures take place. The HUB is a place for technologists, social entrepreneurs, government, tech companies, impact investors and hackers in and around Ogun State to co-create new solutions to the many social problems in Nigeria.
The Tech Hub would support individuals and organisations to smartly apply innovation and technology to solve commercial and social problems. The Tech Hub will facilitate creative thinking and
collaborative problem solving using the smart application of technology.
Our knowledge of delivering innovation through a human-centred design approach combined with our expertise in turning ideas into products, and then sustainable organizations is at the core of our engagements. The Hub will also serve as a knowledge platform where citizens can connect, share, build new skills and competencies to solve local challenges that improve the quality of life of Nigerians.
According to Mr. Dayo Abiodun, The Special Adviser to the State Governor on ICT, and Mrs. Adekunte Olatundun, Director, Ogun State Bureau of Information Technology, the response underscored the enthusiasm of Ogun citizens to the State Government in creation of the Tech Hub.

“It is a major pillar of our quality governance model. We are going to have an inclusive government that will utilise valuable potentials that abound in the State and that’s why we are involving the private sector.” the statements quoted the Governor as saying.
The Ogun State Bureau of Information Technology, is inviting the general public to this 5-Day event.
